For decades we have been talking climate change but the fact is that the World climate has been in perpetual change for millions of years.
The real issue is human impact on climate due to the pollution that we create.
The World Resources Institute has just published a report on how an additional 3 degrees Celsius of warming would impact cities and it is horrific.

More than 130 countries are on a path to decarbonisation and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) estimates that it will need US$125 trillion in investment to achieve net-zero on a global scale by 2050.
The point is that the required spend is going to be enormous in order to have any chance of slowing the additional 3 degree Celsius of warming which then also creates a megatrend investment opportunity.
